Dance and Gender

Dance and performance have experienced significant changes and innovations in recent decades concerning gender issues: the role of women in classical ballet, in modern dance, and in performance, with a particular focus on developments in Vojvodina. 

The WSR has published four books by Svenka Savić on this subject:

• A Look Back (2007),
• Erika Marjaš (2018),
• Žarko Milenković and Mirjana Matić (2019) and
• Rastislav Varga (2023),

Additionally, her book 55 Years of the Ballet School in Novi Sad (2004) was published by the Ballet School in Novi Sad.
